Herefordshire Art Week 2021 at Canon Frome Court

This year's h.Art event is full-steam ahead!

This will not only be my first time exhibiting but I am helping to coordinate the event at CFC as well. The event might look and feel a little different to years gone by but there will be no shortage of fantastic, locally-produced art to take in (and take home!).

We will have three artists debuting their work at Canon Frome Court during the event on 4th-12th September. Along with myself, we will exhibit vibrant, mixed media work by Janet Austen an NHS worker who has resurrected her creative passion over the three lockdowns. And finally painter/printmaker, Elizabeth Perry, has recently relocated to Ledbury from Cornwall. Liz creates a beautiful range of paintings and prints based on sketches made during her ramblings.

Certainly not to be overlooked, Angela Tempany's textile wall-hangings will be on display in the gallery. The three banners inform and celebrate life, past and present, at Canon Frome Court and were painstakingly hand-stitched by the long-time resident.

One important feature we will re-create at this year's Canon Frome Court gallery is the weekend pop-up cafe. A very popular attribute in h.Art events gone-by, the cafe will be providing snacks and drinks on both weekends of Herefordshire Art Week, and is a veritable oasis in the rolling hills.
